In this interactive Cardytoons workshop kids will learn the basics of cartooning - starting with the most important part of expressions - the EYES. Students will draw fun faces, learn how to draw hand movements and developing characters.
SCHOOLS CAN ALSO CHOOSE THEIR OWN THEME for a special event or to complement the curriculum.
This workshop is a follow up session where kids explore how to draw action and add motion. The session also includes how to connect characters and tell a visual story such as adding animals and other objects into the scene. This is a great session as an introduction to book illustration.
This comic workshop will get the kids developing their own fun characters and layouts for comics. For older students - this is also a great class to incorporate storyboarding for comics, animation and live action (see Animation details).
By the end of this session students will be drawing caricatures of our 'Pollies' or other famous people. They will have an understanding of what to look for in a person's features to turn them into a caricature. There may also be time to do a fun teacher cartoon...Don't worry! I'm kind!
